Spring market for handcrafted unique items, design, culinary delights, and sustainability
The Market for Handmade & Design is one of the most important craft formats in Oldenburg and the Weser-Ems region. Unlike a traditional flea market, it is curated: exhibitors apply, and the selection focuses on originality, craftsmanship quality, and design independence.
The majority of the products exhibited are handmade—unique items or small series from their own workshops. Mass-produced or imported standard items are excluded.
In addition to classic handcrafted products, design is a central focus. Exhibitors showcase products where form, function, and material selection are consciously designed. Young design stands alongside established studios.
A dedicated area is reserved for culinary delights: regional specialties, chocolate manufacturers, small distilleries, jams, coffee roasters, and cheese producers complement the offerings. Food trucks and catering stands are available at the market itself.
Sustainable products and concepts play an important role. Materials, supply chains, packaging, and longevity are actively addressed by many exhibitors.
The spring edition marks the start of the season after winter and is usually one of the most visited. An autumn edition follows in November.
The 2026 edition continues the concept of the curated spring market. The exhibitor list will be published in advance.
