Three-day wine and street festival along the main street of the twin municipality Maring-Noviand
The Wine and Street Festival is one of the classic summer street festivals along the Moselle and its side valleys. Unlike courtyard festivals, which concentrate on individual wineries, here the entire main street transforms into a continuous festival area. Associations, vintners, and restaurateurs set up their stalls along the street, and visitors move from stall to stall, enjoying wine, food, and music in a typical village atmosphere.
The vintners of Maring-Noviand serve Riesling, Müller-Thurgau, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir, and sparkling wines by the glass. The local associations – music club, sports club, fire department, and other organizations – operate food stalls with bratwurst, potato pancakes, French fries, cheese platters, soups, salads, and sweet specialties. A portion of the proceeds benefits the associations.
A central stage provides live music, dance bands, and popular music over the three days. Cover bands and regional acts alternate, with brass music and a "Frühshoppen" (morning pint) character often being the focus on Sunday.
Early August is one of the most beautiful times to travel in the Middle Moselle and its side valleys. Those who want to combine the Wine and Street Festival with hikes in the Liesertal valley or a cycling tour will find ideal conditions.
The 2026 edition follows the proven concept of previous years. The associations and vintners of Maring-Noviand coordinate their stalls along the main street, creating a familiar and convivial atmosphere.
The 2026 program will be published by the organizer in the summer.
The exact program for 2026 will be published by the organizer in the summer. The structure follows the established cornerstones of Moselle street festivals:
