Clubs' Community Organizes the Festival
The Maifest in Eime is a prime example of successful cooperation among village clubs: the Heimat- und Kulturverein, the sports community, Eimer Elite, the fire department's flute orchestra, and the shooting club all contribute their respective areas. The result is a diverse festival program that appeals to a wide range of generations.
Program Around the Schützenplatz
The Schützenplatz is the center of the festival. Food and drinks will be served from 12 PM: grilled food and fries by the Spielgemeinschaft Eime/Banteln, coffee and homemade cakes from 2 PM by the Heimat- und Kulturverein, drinks by Eimer Elite. The concert by the FFW Eime flute orchestra provides musical entertainment. The crowning of the shooting king by the Kleinkaliberschützen Eime-Dunsen adds a festive touch to the day. A bouncy castle ensures fun for the youngest guests.
Eime in the Leinebergland
The municipality of Eime is located in the Leine Valley between Alfeld and Gronau. The community is the seat of the Samtgemeinde Leinebergland (former structures) and has a vibrant club life. The Maifest is an expression of this commitment and an important date in Eime's event calendar.
