The Maibaumfest 2026 will take place on May 1st and 2nd at the Baltic-Freizeit camping and holiday park in Markgrafenheide. Friday from 5:00 PM Maypole raising with music and dance, Saturday from 3:00 PM children's disco, live music, dancing, and happy hour at the cocktail bar.

On Friday, May 1st, 2026, the festival begins at 5:00 PM with the traditional raising of the Maypole in front of the barn. Followed by music and dance in the Maypole circle. On Saturday, May 2nd, the festival continues from 3:00 PM: children's disco until 4:30 PM, then dance music for adults, happy hour at the cocktail bar from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM. Event motto: 'The May has come...' — classic season opening of the Markgrafenheide beach resort.

Getting there

By car via the Warnow tunnel (A19) towards Hohe Düne / Markgrafenheide. The Hohe Düne–Markgrafenheide summer ferry is not required for the festival; arrive directly at the camping and holiday park.
