The Mahrenholz Beach Volleyball Cup has been the central beach volleyball event on the North German coast for over three decades. 2026 sees the 34th edition on the program — a testament to the tournament's deep roots in the local and supra-regional beach community.

July 3rd to 5th, 2026 — 3 Days of Volleyball by the Sea

The 2026 tournament takes place from Friday, July 3rd to Sunday, July 5th. Over three days, more than 900 participants from all over Germany will compete in several divisions and age groups for trophies and rankings.

Sparkassen-BeachArena Cuxhaven-Duhnen

The venue is the Sparkassen-BeachArena Cuxhaven-Duhnen — a facility with a unique selling point: it is the only permanent beach stadium on the German North Sea coast. With 1,200 grandstand seats, several center courts, and training courts, it offers professional conditions for tournaments of all sizes.

Registration and Divisions

Registration is via cux-beach.de. Divisions range from hobby to ambitious amateur levels, separated by gender and age groups. The tournament attracts both regional club teams and travel-loving beach volleyball players from all over Germany.
