The municipality of Zellertal is located in the Donnersbergkreis, in the valley of the stream of the same name between Donnersberg and Rheinhessen. It comprises several districts, including Harxheim, where the „Magical Zellertal” festival takes place. The valley is scenically appealing, viticulture plays an important role, and the village community actively cultivates its events.

Concept: Art and Wine

The combination of art and wine is a proven mix for summer enjoyment festivals in Rhineland-Palatinate. Artisans display their works at stalls along the main street, artists present paintings, sculptures, ceramics, or jewelry. In parallel, winemakers and restaurateurs open their stalls and offer regional wines from diverse vineyards and styles.

The Weimunkel-Meile

The „WM-Meile” – Weimunkel-Meile – is a special feature of the festival: A large communal table stretches through the main street, where visitors can take a seat, drink wine together, chat, and enjoy the festive ambiance. The open table community creates encounters between locals and guests, between wine tourists and art enthusiasts. It is an expression of Palatinate conviviality in its most beautiful form.

Exhibitor Sunday

On Sunday, the festival expands to include the exhibitor section: Over 50 exhibitors and artisans showcase their work – from handmade jewelry to ceramics, glass, textiles, woodcraft, and creative design pieces. The market is manageable but of high quality. Visitors will find original gifts, home accessories, or collector's items.
