The Kulturquartier as a Stage

Kulturquartier Wolfsburg bundles an urban cultural area around the Kunstmuseum, Hollerplatz, and neighboring institutions. With the premiere of 'live & lecker' in 2026, the quarter is launching a summer format that uses the outdoor space in an accessible way — a deliberate opening of the otherwise rather introverted museum environment.

Music

The lineup mixes styles and generations: Midu Togobeat brings Afro-tropical rhythms, the gospel choir JustSing provides full sound, The Razzzones stand for classic Rock'n'Roll and Soul, and DJ Ton Tut Not takes over later in the evening, transitioning into the open-air atmosphere. The program is well-composed for a mixed audience of museum visitors, families, and after-work guests.

Culinary Delights

Nine Wolfsburg restaurants and bars are participating. The concept aims for diversity: local classics, international cuisines, cocktails, specialties, and vegetarian-vegan options. This also gives the format a culinary city exploration function — guests get to know establishments they might not otherwise discover.

Walking Acts and Atmosphere

Between the stage performances, walking acts — acrobats, musicians, performance artists — create movement and surprising encounters. The Hollerplatz in front of the Kunstmuseum offers seating and good sightlines to the stage and exhibitors.

Free Admission

Admission is free; food and drinks are paid for at the stands. The format is suitable for a spontaneous after-work outing, a family visit, or a longer evening in Wolfsburg's city center.
