51st Concert Series in Lehnin Abbey Church — 2026 Season themed 'Perspective Europe'
The Cistercian monastery of Lehnin is one of Brandenburg's most significant medieval architectural ensembles — founded in 1180. The Abbey Church regularly becomes a concert hall in the summer: the Lehnin Summer Music festival takes place for the 51st time in 2026.
The 2026 season is themed 'Perspective Europe' and connects Brandenburg's liturgical tradition with European musical relationships.
Accompanying the main series, free organ matinees take place every Sunday at 12 PM during the summer. Organists from Brandenburg and across Europe are invited.
Concert tickets range from €5 to €20; children have free admission. Advance sales via the Lehnin Abbey Church community.
The organizer is the Protestant Lehnin Abbey Church Community. The festival is supported by the State of Brandenburg and private sponsors.
