20 Years of Art and Craft Market

Kunstrausch Ronsdorf has been the defining art and craft market in southern Wuppertal for two decades. The 20th anniversary edition takes place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. — for the first time at the Freie Evangelische Gemeinde (FeG) Ronsdorf, Bandwirkerstraße 28–30. Admission is free.

Around 80 Exhibitors with Craftsmanship Quality

The selection process is strict — for around 80 available stand spaces, over 150 applications are received each year. The jury selects exhibitors who excel in craftsmanship or artistry. Represented crafts:

• Jewelry (gold and silversmiths)
• Textile Art
• Glasswork and mosaic
• Illustration and Printmaking
• Wood Carving

The Team Behind the Market

Behind Kunstrausch is the association Kunstrausch e.V. with a volunteer core team:

• Ute Scholl-Halbach — Glass and mosaic artist
• Konstanze Kollera — Goldsmith (new to the team)
• Frank Höhle — Digital coordination

The partner is the Ronsdorfer Heimat- und Bürgerverein. The event is socially committed: all proceeds go to the children's and youth work of the Ronsdorf church communities.

New Location: Freie Evangelische Gemeinde Ronsdorf

The 20th edition marks a change of location: for the first time, the market will take place at the FeG Ronsdorf — a bright, barrier-free community center with ample space for around 80 stands. Food and drinks will be offered on-site, and dogs are welcome.

Ronsdorf — the "Bergisch" District of Wuppertal

Ronsdorf is one of the ten districts of Wuppertal (a city without a district, around 357,000 inhabitants) and is located in the south of the city in the Bergisches Land region. The district has retained its own identity — with a historic core, an independent church and club landscape, and an active art scene, whose most prominent annual event is Kunstrausch.
