Asendorf-Bücken District Marksmen's Association

The Asendorf-Bücken District Marksmen's Association (KSV) is an inter-local association of marksmen's clubs in the western district of Nienburg/Weser and neighbouring municipalities. The association coordinates championships, parades, training sessions, and joint initiatives of its member clubs. Every year, the joint Kreisverbands-Schützenfest takes place rotating among the member clubs — in 2026, SV Warpe-Windhorst will be the host.

SV Warpe-Windhorst as Host

The Warpe-Windhorst Marksmen's Club is based in the Warpe-Nordholz district of the municipality of Stolzenau (Mittelweser collective municipality, Nienburg/Weser district). As the host of the 2026 District Association Festival, the club is making its premises — the Warpe-Nordholz Community Centre — available and is responsible for organising the event in close consultation with the district board.

Programme and Shooting Competitions

The focus is on the District Association Championships in various disciplines (air rifle, small-bore rifle, pistol) and age groups (pupils, youth, women, men, seniors). The individual clubs send their best marksmen, and the results are included in the association's ranking list. Beyond the sporting aspect, the gathering is an important occasion for exchange between the clubs.

Festival Community

Following the competitions, there will be a joint ceremony with award presentations, the handover of trophies and certificates, a communal meal, and a festive evening. The District Association Festival is an expression of the growing solidarity between the clubs and strengthens identification with the inter-local association.

In the rural regions of Lower Saxony, marksmen's clubs are far more than just sports clubs — they are cultural and social anchors of the village community. The district association bundles these local initiatives into an inter-local marksmen's family.
