Folk Festival with Tradition since 1967

The Königsbrunner Gautsch was first celebrated in 1967 on the occasion of Königsbrunn's city elevation and has since developed into a firm highlight in the city's event calendar. Königsbrunn is located immediately south of Augsburg in the Augsburg district.

Course and Format

The festival traditionally begins on the last Friday in June with the beer tapping by the First Mayor and always lasts ten days. The venue is the festival grounds on St.-Johannes-Straße with a large festival tent and amusement park.
