Koblenz Wine Festival – Vinothek on Tour (4 District Stages)

The Vinothek on Tour is one of the most distinctive formats of the Koblenz Wine Festival: the official festival wine bar, which is not permanently installed in a central location but moves through four districts as a mobile bar. This makes the festival's wine culture visible where Koblenz residents live – in the districts, beyond the tourist-frequented city center.

Four Stages, Four Districts

The four stages for 2026 have been carefully selected and confirmed:

• May 22–24: Schenkendorfplatz in Südstadt – a Koblenz district with a lively residential and gastronomic scene
• May 30: Forecourt of Fort Asterstein – historic fortress on the heights east of the Rhine
• June 12: Moselweiß district – one of the four Koblenz vineyards on the left bank of the Moselle
• June 26–27: Mendelssohnpark in Horchheim – a green district park in the southern part of Koblenz, east of the Rhine

Ten Festival Wines by the Glass

At each stage, ten selected festival wines will be served – from the four Koblenz vineyard sites (Ehrenbreitstein, Güls, Lay, Moselweiß), from the Mosel, Mittelrhein, Ahr, and Rheinhessen regions. This makes the Vinothek on Tour a compact tasting journey through the wine regions of the city and its surroundings. For those who don't fancy wine, there are non-alcoholic drinks, mixed wine spritzers (Schorlen), and lemonades available.

Catering in Partnership

Each district stage is implemented in partnership with local restaurateurs, clubs, or initiatives. They provide catering with food, often typical of the district and in limited quantities. This creates an authentic atmosphere and strengthens the community fabric of the district.

Live Music on Site

At each stage, live music or a DJ set accompanies the wine and catering offerings. Proven formats include acoustic duos, singer-songwriters, jazz trios, or local cover bands that fit the relaxed atmosphere. The specific artists will be announced by the organizer for each stage.

Festival Integration

The Vinothek on Tour is part of the Koblenz Wine Festival 2026 (May 8 – July 11) and complements the central formats: Opening Weekend, Riverside Bar, Augusta Fest, Wine on the Water, and Electronic Wine.
