About B2Run Koblenz
The B2Run Koblenz is the most important company run in the Middle Rhine region and part of the nationwide B2Run series, which organizes company runs in over 15 major German cities. In Koblenz, the run has a longer tradition: it was known as Münz Firmenlauf until it was taken over by B2Run and has been a firm fixture in the city's summer calendar for years.
Sport for Teams
Unlike a classic public run, the focus at B2Run is not on the individual runner, but on the team. Employees from companies, authorities, hospitals, and associations register together, compete in matching t-shirts, and run the distance not for a personal best, but for team spirit. The team ranking sorts companies by average running time and awards the fastest and largest teams.
City Course Around 6 Kilometers
The course, at around 6 kilometers, is deliberately chosen to be suitable for everyday use – even inexperienced runners can complete it without extreme preparation. The exact route in Koblenz is published by the organizer in advance and traditionally leads through the city center and along the Rhine promenade. The atmosphere on the course is friendly and lively – not a cutthroat competition, but a shared city experience.
After-Run Party
A special feature of B2Run is the after-run party, which begins right after the run in the finish area. With live music or a DJ, catering stands, cold drinks, and a festive mood, the joint run is celebrated. For many participants, the after-run party is almost more important than the run itself – it is an employee event that sustainably strengthens team cohesion.
Registration via Companies
Registration is usually done through the HR department of the respective company or a team captain who registers on b2run.de. The entry fee is affordable and includes the running t-shirt, access to the after-run party, and refreshments.
