Techno Open Air directly on the Havel riverbank
Ketzin/Havel is located in the Havelland district, on the Havel river between Potsdam and Brandenburg an der Havel. The small town has been closely connected to the Havel river and shipping since the 13th century — and the sandy beach at Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn-Weg is one of the most beautiful bathing spots in the Havelland region. In summer, locals, day-trippers from Berlin, and water sports enthusiasts meet here. With the Klangfarben Open Air, the beach becomes a stage for electronic music for one night.
The Klangfarben Open Air is part of the Klangfarben festival series and focuses on the concept of a beach open-air with a top-class lineup. The combination of electronic music, natural scenery, and summer atmosphere makes the event an alternative to the classic Berlin club nights. The Ketzin Havel beach offers enough space for a dance floor, stage, bars, and chill-out areas — the atmosphere by the water at sunset is unique.
The main act of the Klangfarben Open Air 2026 is Alex Christensen — DJ, producer, and frontman of U96, who shaped the German dance scene of the 90s with “Das Boot" and many other hits. His “Classical 80s & 90s Dance Show" combines the biggest dance hits of that era with classical arrangements and driving beats. The concept has thrilled thousands at festivals in recent years. Tickets from €21.42. Starts at 6 PM.
For those traveling from Berlin, it takes about 45 minutes by car to reach the festival grounds. Arrival by train is possible via Brandenburg an der Havel with a connecting bus. The Klangfarben Open Air is ideal for a summer day trip with beach time during the day and the festival in the evening — don't forget your swimwear and comfortable shoes. For overnight stays, we recommend accommodations in Potsdam, Brandenburg an der Havel, or Ketzin itself.
On Saturday, July 25, 2026, Ketzin's Havel beach at Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn-Weg 31 will transform into an electronic open-air stage. The Klangfarben Open Air starts at 6 PM — techno and dance sounds directly on the Havel, with a view of the water and sunset atmosphere.
The main act is Alex Christensen, one of the most famous German dance music producers of the last thirty years. His “Classical 80s & 90s Dance Show" combines the anthems of the dance era with classical arrangements and driving beats — a highlight of the Brandenburg festival summer, very close to Berlin.
