V. — a citizens' initiative that provides the village with club activities and festivals throughout the year. In 2026, the Kirmes will run from June 26th to 28th on the Anger — the central village square.

Three Days of Kirmes with Festival Tent and Program

Like all Thuringian village Kirmes, the Schloßvippach event follows the classic three-day model: Friday evening festival tent opening and first dance, Saturday main program with live band, Sunday family and early-bird day. Bratwurst, beer, snacks at the festival tent; carousels and children's program for the youngest guests; dancing with live music in the evenings.
