Event Schedule
11:00 AM — Ecumenical Service
The Stadtfest kicks off with the Ecumenical Service on the Parkhausbühne, located in the center of the festival mile. The Catholic and Protestant parish communities of Kirchen jointly organize the service — a remarkable element for a city festival. It connects to the spirit of St. Martin with a sermon on sharing the cloak and solidarity.
11 AM - 1 PM — Opening of the Festival Mile
Opening of the market and catering stalls along the festival mile. First visitors stroll through the city center, early shopping in the open stores.
1 PM - 4 PM — Main Phase with Music and Dance
Peak visitor numbers in the afternoon. Performances by various music and dance groups on the Parkhausbühne: brass choirs, children's choirs, dance groups from Kirchen and the region. Family activities from the youth center with games and craft sessions. Food stalls are well-frequented.
4 PM - 6 PM — Late Afternoon Phase
Continuation of the stage and activity program. Further musical contributions, possibly a performance by a band or a special artist.
6:00 PM — Grand Stadtfest Finale
The crowning conclusion of the Stadtfest with the Grand Stadtfest Finale on the Parkhausbühne. A musical highlight, communal singing, or a special performance.
After 6:00 PM — Wind-down

The festival mile stretches from Rathausplatz in the historic city center via Linden-, Brücken-, and Bahnhofstraße to the Bahnhofsvorplatz.
