What is Kinofest?
Kinofest is a nationwide industry event that, since 2024, reduces admission to participating cinemas to 5 Euros for a weekend every autumn – regardless of the auditorium, time of day, or film length. The goal: to bring people back to the cinemas who may have lost touch with the experience in recent years. The result: one of the busiest days of the German cinema year.
