The Rosenmontag Procession

Karneval floats with local, regional, and current political themes, dance troupes, walking groups, marching bands, and music bands from the Südeifel form the backbone of the parade. Families stand along the roadside, Kamelle (sweets) and Strüssjer (small bouquets) are distributed generously, and the atmosphere is jubilant.
