Summer Late Shift at KARLS

The Long Summer Evening is the most casual format in KARLS Rövershagen's event calendar. Instead of a big show, the Experience Village is simply open longer on one Saturday in July — from 4 PM to 9 PM — and gets a summer party atmosphere for a few hours.

What's on that Evening

The program is family-friendly and accessible. Live DJs play summer hits in an outdoor area, and in between, there's a water balloon fight for anyone who wants to cool off. For the little ones, there's a mini-disco, face painting, and a summer riddle rally across the entire farm grounds. For the strawberry cake eating contest, anyone who fancies a portion of the classic can participate, and at the bars, strawberry cocktails and non-alcoholic punch are available for adults.

Free Admission, Farm Fully Utilized

Like all KARLS events, the Long Summer Evening is accessible with free admission. You only pay for what you actually consume. The entire outdoor area is used, including the manufactory market, play area, and pick-your-own fields — the atmosphere with the setting sun over the farm area in the Rostocker Heide is considered the highlight of the strawberry season.

Karls Rövershagen is located in the district of Rostock, between the Hanseatic city of Rostock and the beginning of the Baltic Sea coast on Fischland-Darß-Zingst. The Long Summer Evening traditionally attracts day-trippers from Rostock, Ribnitz-Damgarten, Stralsund, and the surrounding Baltic Sea resorts.
