Overview

Heissa Holzmarkt 2025 ran from November 14 to December 21 in the artist village on the Spree riverbank in Friedrichshain. As in previous years, it featured curated artisan stalls, international street food, a children's program, and tiered admission: free on Wednesdays and Thursdays, with a solidarity contribution of €3 from Friday to Sunday. The organizer was the Holzmarkt team.

The 2025 edition ran for five weekends and followed the established Holzmarkt concept: crafts on one side of the courtyard, international street food on the other, plus an indoor playground and circus workshops for children. A specialty compared to the large Berlin city center markets: fewer stalls, but more artisanal products and a clear curatorial mission.

The admission model with free weekdays was maintained in 2025 and ensured – as intended – spread-out visitor flows. Mulled wine, Lángos, burritos, and Käsespätzle formed the market's culinary classics. The 2025 season laid the groundwork for the upcoming 2026 edition.
