Wolkenschieberfest — the pre-event of the Hasper Kirmes

The Hasper Wolkenschieberfest is a format with tradition, which forms the prelude to the actual Hasper Kirmes. Who is the HHBV?

The Hasper Heimat- und Brauchtum-Verein von 1861 e.V. (HHBV) is one of Hagen's oldest customs associations. Founded in 1861, it is not only the organizer of the Hasper Kirmes but also a custodian of local Hagen customs – dialect, regional history, club life, shooting traditions. The Wolkenschieberfest is an association event with a public character.

DKS — Old Fire Station as the festival venue

The venue is the DKS (Alte Feuerwache) on Enneper Straße in Hagen-Haspe. The historic fire station has been repurposed into a cultural center and community hall – with halls, a courtyard, and outdoor areas ideal for a neighborhood festival. The name Wolkenschieberfest is rooted in Hagen's dialect heritage.
