Hasloh is a small municipality with just under 2,700 inhabitants in the Pinneberg district, located on the northwestern edge of the Hamburg metropolitan region, between Quickborn and Norderstedt. Its location gives the municipality a special identity: close to Hamburg's commuter belt yet retaining its village character. An active community life ensures that Hasloh maintains its own festivities despite its proximity to the big city — from the annual village flea market to plant exchanges and fitness events.

The Village Flea Market — A Format with Tradition

The Hasloh Village Flea Market is a village-wide flea market: not a central sales area, but the entire community becomes the stage. Residents who wish to participate register in advance through the association Hasloh Gestalten e.V. and set up tables full of bric-a-brac in their front gardens, garages, yards, or driveways on the day of the event.

The items offered cover the entire spectrum of a classic flea market:

The Charm of Decentralized Flea Markets

What distinguishes the village-wide flea market from a central market is the atmosphere. Instead of queuing at crowded stalls, you stroll through the village, stop by every house that has put up a sign, and chat with the sellers — the experience becomes a mix of treasure hunt and walk. Families from Hasloh, from Quickborn, Bilsen, Bönningstedt, and the entire Pinneberg district come every year for this day — and often combine it with a late coffee at one of the local establishments.

Integrated into the Association's Year

The village flea market is just one event in the active year of the association Hasloh Gestalten e.V.. Other dates in 2026 include the Plant Exchange on May 3rd (hobby growers exchange and sell seedlings, perennials, herbs) and the Fitness Event 'How Fit is Hasloh?' on August 16th (community sports and exercise activities for all generations). The community life structures the year — and the flea market on May 31st is one of its highlights.
