The Großes Weinfest Senheim is a festival with character. While most Mosel wine festivals rely on a tried-and-tested mix of a marquee, wine stands, and a parade, Senheim has given its festival an unusual second soul: an internationally recognized vintage tractor rally, now in its 32nd year, attracting collectors from Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, and France.
On Saturday morning, the 'Tractor Orientation Drive' starts – a tour through the vineyards around Senheim, where drivers maneuver the historic machines through the steep slopes and the idyllic hilly landscape of the Mosel. On Sunday at 2:00 PM, the grand tractor parade through the village follows – a spectacle that captivates even non-tractor fans. The highlight: the grand raffle at 4:30 PM, where a historic Güldner tractor ADK 9W from 1958 is up for grabs.
In parallel, the classic wine festival program runs in the marquee: opening on Friday evening with live band GOOSEFLESH, crowning of the new Senheim Wine Queen on Saturday at 3:00 PM, followed by a dance evening with FOUR 'N ONE. On Sunday, the Bremmer Stadtmusikanten play during the morning concert, and in the afternoon, DUO TWO4YOU provides entertainment. The festival concludes on Monday evening with a traditional 'Heimatabend' (homeland evening) featuring local music and dance groups.
The wines come exclusively from Senheim's vintners and neighboring estates in the immediate vicinity. The focus is on Rieslings from the steep slopes, Spätburgunder, and sparkling wine specialties. Admission is free on all days – a conscious decision by the organizers who want to keep the festival open as a meeting place for the entire region.

The Großes Weinfest 2026 in Senheim runs from Friday, July 3, to Monday, July 6. The festival grounds are located in the village center and are complemented by a vineyard route for the tractor orientation drive on Saturday and the tractor parade on Sunday. The event is organized by the Senheim Tourist and Beautification Association.
