Frohnau — Garden City with Tradition
The district of Frohnau was planned as a garden city in 1910 — one of the few Berlin districts that were never developed as tenement housing. This connection of living and gardening fits perfectly with the concept of Gartenlust & Kunstgenuss: The market doesn't take place in an interchangeable hall but in a town center that actively cultivates its identity as a green, quiet residential city. Residents and visitors from all over northern Berlin mingle at the market stalls.
A Berlin Tradition
There are many artisan markets in Berlin — from the large Christmas market stalls to spontaneous flea markets in courtyards. Gartenlust & Kunstgenuss has earned a firm place in the Berlin market calendar through its consistent quality selection of exhibitors. If you're looking for arts and crafts and garden decorations beyond mass-produced goods, this is the place to be.
