22 Years of GartenKultur Musikfestival

The GartenKultur Musikfestival was founded in 2004 and has undergone remarkable development since then. What began as a small concert series in private gardens has become an established summer festival with stops in Lilienthal, Grasberg, Worpswede, and other locations in the Osterholz district. The combination of music and special venues, the intimate atmosphere, and the quality of the programme make the festival a regional brand.

Findorffhof as a Venue

The Findorffhof in Grasberg is a historic courtyard at Am Schiffgraben 7, standing under the legacy of moor commissioner Jürgen Christian Findorff. The interior rooms and the courtyard offer special spatial qualities for concerts. The intimate size and rural charm make the Findorffhof one of the most beautiful concert venues of the festival. The audience sits close to the artists and experiences the music directly.

Pure Invention and Gordon in a Double Concert

The programme on August 22, 2026, combines two acts. Pure Invention is an acoustic duo featuring musicians M. Keller and T. Conrad, who impress with fine arrangements, artistic guitar work, and harmonious vocals. Gordon is a cover band that brings the classics of 1970s and 1980s rock and pop music back to life with songs by Supertramp, Billy Joel, the Beatles, and Toto. The combination of two stylistically different acts is typical for the festival's varied concert evenings.

Summer Evening in a Courtyard Ambiance

The concert begins at 5:30 PM, taking advantage of the long summer evening. Guests often bring blankets or folding chairs; the weather determines whether the concert takes place outdoors or in the courtyard rooms. Catering facilities provide drinks and small snacks.

Local Roots

The Findorffhof Grasberg is one of the regular stops of the GartenKultur Musikfestival and is operated in close cooperation with the municipality. Tickets are available in advance at the Grasberg Town Hall, Speckmannstraße 30, and at Edeka Ernst. At ten euros per concert, the admission remains affordable for all segments of the population.
