The Village Fire Brigade's Summer Festival

The Gartenfest of the Oberneukirchen Volunteer Fire Brigade is the annual summer festival of the FFW in the Upper Bavarian municipality of Oberneukirchen (Mühldorf am Inn district, Bavaria). The venue is the fire station with the associated festival grounds. The festival is organized entirely by the local fire brigade association and its supporters – the proceeds benefit the FFW Oberneukirchen's association work.

Program and Atmosphere

The concept follows the classic Bavarian fire brigade garden festival model: all-day catering with food and drinks, a cake buffet with donations from the village community, a convivial atmosphere between the festival tent, beer garden area, and play facilities for families. The Oberneukirchen FFW calls for cake donations in advance – sign-ups are at the Mayerhofer fresh food market in town.

The Gartenfest is more than just an association festival: it is an annual meeting point for the Oberneukirchen village community, where families, older generations, associations, and helpers come together.
