Funhouse 2026 — Two Days of Urban Festival
From August 21 to 22, 2026, Nordmarksportfeld in Kiel will transform into an urban festival stage. The organizer is Funhouse Festival GbR. Over 25 acts will perform over two festival days, with a program including Hip-Hop, Indie Pop, R&B, Electronic Music, and DJ sets. Main sponsors: Delta Radio, Sparkasse, Heineken.
The festival targets the young festival scene of Kiel, Schleswig-Holstein, and Northern Germany — Hip-Hop fans, Indie Pop listeners, and Silent Disco enthusiasts. A street food area, chill zones, and an active volunteer program complete the experience.

Hip-Hop and Indie on the Sports Field
The Funhouse Festival annually takes over the Nordmarksportfeld in the Schreventeich district of Kiel, the state capital of Schleswig-Holstein. Schreventeich is centrally located, not far from the Kiel Fjord, and easily accessible by bus and bike. The sports field offers the open space that a modern city festival needs — stages, a street food area, a silent disco, and chill zones fit in without any problems.
Two Days, Two Genre Focuses
The festival concept is clearly structured: Hip-Hop and Indie Pop on the first day, urban crossover and electronic music on the second day. Over 25 acts will perform on several stages, ranging from major-funded artists to the regional underground scene.

A Young Kiel Festival Brand
Funhouse is not a classic mega-festival (Hurricane, Wacken, Highfield), but an urban city festival with a clear identity: young, hip-hop-oriented, with indie crossover and a silent disco twist. It fills a gap between the Kieler Woche (classic maritime in June) and the Reeperbahn Festival (Hamburg, September). Those who want to experience Hip-Hop and new German pop stars live will find their two August days here.
