Street food from around the world on Hamburg's Spielbudenplatz
For years, the Spielbudenplatz on the Reeperbahn has been one of the central event locations in Hamburg's entertainment district. For three days in September, it transforms into a street food plaza: The Food Truck Festival brings together over 20 trucks and stalls with specialties from around the world – a small, curated city festival in the heart of St. Pauli.
The culinary mix is deliberately international:
There's live music on stage at Spielbudenplatz every day: Hamburg bands, singer-songwriters, DJ sets. Free admission – locals often come multiple times over the weekend.
St. Pauli is located in the Hamburg-Mitte district. Easily accessible via the Reeperbahn train station and numerous bus lines. Anyone walking through St. Pauli on the weekend will automatically pass by the festival.
From September 11th to 13th, 2026, Spielbudenplatz in St. Pauli will transform into an international street food mile. Over 20 trucks will bring specialties from five continents to Hamburg, accompanied by a daily stage program.
Stage with daily live music. Free admission.
