For years, the Spielbudenplatz on the Reeperbahn has been one of the central event locations in Hamburg's entertainment district. For three days in September, it transforms into a street food plaza: The Food Truck Festival brings together over 20 trucks and stalls with specialties from around the world – a small, curated city festival in the heart of St. Pauli.

Over 20 Trucks, Five Continents

The culinary mix is deliberately international:

• Africa: Jollof Rice, Plantain, Ethiopian Injera
• Syria: Fattoush, Halloumi, Mezze
• Thailand: Pad Thai, Mango Sticky Rice
• Turkey: Pide, Künefe, Manti
• India: Curries, Dosas, Naan
• South America: Empanadas, Asado specialties
• Germany: regional Bratwurst and Currywurst, burger adaptations

Live Music Daily

There's live music on stage at Spielbudenplatz every day: Hamburg bands, singer-songwriters, DJ sets. Free admission – locals often come multiple times over the weekend.

Hamburg-Mitte District

St. Pauli is located in the Hamburg-Mitte district. Easily accessible via the Reeperbahn train station and numerous bus lines. Anyone walking through St. Pauli on the weekend will automatically pass by the festival.
