Women, Rock, and Visibility

The FemRock Festival was initiated by the City of Dorsten to give female artists and all-female bands a stage — in a genre world (rock, indie, pop) where female acts are still underrepresented on festival lineups. The festival is part of the Dorsten Women's Cultural Days (March 6–31, 2026) and sees itself as a musical statement for visibility, self-determination, and diversity.

Das LEO — Venue in Dorsten

The venue is Das LEO at Fürst-Leopold-Allee 70 — the city of Dorsten's cultural event location. In an industrial loft ambiance, several floors are used for concerts, readings, and events — an ideal venue for the mix of loud, intimate, and focused that defines FemRock.

Line-up 2026 — Green Divise, Kombiticket, Morenergy, Sportfreunde Helden

Four acts in one evening starting at 6:30 PM: Green Divise, Kombiticket, Morenergy, and Sportfreunde Helden. The bands combine rock, pop, and indie with clear female voices — ranging from a more rocky to a poppy-melodic program. The order will be announced shortly before the concert.

Dorsten — Hanseatic City on the Northern Edge of the Ruhr Area

The city of Dorsten in the district of Recklinghausen lies at the transition from the Ruhr area to Münsterland and on the Wesel-Datteln Canal. With its medieval city center, the Westphalian Jewish Museum, and the vibrant event scene around Das LEO, Dorsten is one of the lively small towns in the Ruhr area. The Women's Cultural Days are one of the most important municipal cultural formats.
