Wandlitz — Holiday Resort on Wandlitzer See

Wandlitz is located in the Barnim district, in the Barnim Nature Park, about 30 kilometers north of Berlin. With its Wandlitzer See lake, surrounding forests, and its location on the outskirts of Berlin, the municipality is a popular recreational area for Berlin weekenders. It is easily accessible from Berlin via S-Bahn line S2 and the Heidekrautbahn (RB27). The Barnim Panorama is the cultural flagship of the municipality.

Barnim Panorama — Nature and Agriculture in One Building

The Barnim Panorama is a modern dual museum concept: on one hand, it is the nature park center for the Barnim Nature Park, and on the other, it houses the Wandlitz Agricultural Museum with tractors, agricultural machinery, and exhibitions on Brandenburg's agricultural history. Family Festival — "Music at the Museum"

Under the title "Music at the Museum – Family Festival," the festival meadow of Barnim Panorama transforms into an open-air stage for summer family concerts. In 2026, two live bands are on the program: ICH & HERR MEYER, a well-known band in the children's music scene, and Suli Puschban, a singer-songwriter who combines rock, folk, swing, samba, and reggae. Starts at 2 PM (doors open 1 PM). Play areas on the festival meadow complement the concerts.

Tickets and Program Connection

Tickets cost €15 per person and include museum admission — so you can visit the exhibitions, the tractor hall, the garden, and the discovery trail before or after the concert. Tickets are available in advance at Barnim Panorama, the Wandlitz libraries, or online via Reservix. Travel by S2 to Bernau, then RB27 to Wandlitz, or directly by car via the A11. The event is particularly suitable for families with primary school-aged children — the combination of an interactive museum, live outdoor music, and play activities makes the day a perfectly harmonious family experience in the Barnim Nature Park.
