Vollersode and its Festival Culture

Vollersode is a district of the municipality of Lübberstedt in the Samtgemeinde Hambergen. Despite its small population, the village maintains a remarkably vibrant festival culture. The Erntefest is the undisputed highlight of the year and an occasion where former residents from Bremen, Hamburg, and the surrounding region gather to experience the village atmosphere together.

Parade on Saturday Evening

Unlike in many other Lower Saxony villages, the Thanksgiving parade in Vollersode traditionally takes place not on Sunday, but on Saturday evening. The decorated floats parade through the village at dusk, festively illuminated and accompanied by music groups and associations. Festival Tent and Catering

Behind the Erntefest are Sabine Schnackenberg and a dedicated committee that coordinates the preparations.
