Erlensee's Musical Summer Double Pack

The Erlenseer Kulturnächte is the open-air festival of the city of Erlensee in the Main-Kinzig district. The venue is the Limespark on Konrad-Adenauer-Straße – an easily accessible park that becomes a stage for two concert nights every summer. The 2026 edition creates an interesting contrast: On Friday, the park becomes a 'Sommerwiesn' (summer meadow festival) with Alpine atmosphere, while on Saturday, the Glam Rock heroes of the 1970s will take the stage.

In the 1970s, The SWEET and Slade were among the defining Glam Rock bands of Great Britain – hits like 'Fox on the Run', 'Ballroom Blitz', 'Cum on Feel the Noize', and 'Merry Xmas Everybody' have shaped generations. Both bands continue to exist in successor formations, and Dave Hill (guitarist and co-founder of Slade since 1966) performs under the official name Dave Hill's SLADE. Limespark – Concert Park on the Limes

The Limespark is located in the Erlensee district of Rückingen, in close proximity to the route of the historical Roman Limes, which ran here. The UNESCO World Heritage line is marked for a few hundred meters – an interesting walk before the concerts.
