Erdmannhäuser Weindorf — A Swabian Wine Tradition
The Erdmannhäuser Weindorf is a classic Swabian wine and club festival that takes place every year on German Unity Day on the Rathausvorplatz. The organizer is the Förderverein GSV Erdmannhausen e.V., which supports the sports and club activities of the municipality. The proceeds from the wine village flow directly back into the sports departments and youth work of the main club.
Program — Regional Wines and Swabian Cuisine
The musical and culinary program follows a proven concept: wine and food stalls from local clubs and vintners are set up on the Rathausvorplatz. Wines from regional providers are served — primarily from the Württemberg wine-growing region, the home of Trollinger and Lemberger tradition. The clubs offer Swabian specialties: Maultaschen, lentils with Spätzle and Saitenwürstchen, Zwiebelrostbraten, Gaisburger Marsch, Flammkuchen, Schupfnudeln. A stage provides musical entertainment.
Erdmannhausen — Swabian Wine and Sports Community
Erdmannhausen (Ludwigsburg district, AGS 08118, around 5,200 inhabitants) is located in the Swabian-Franconian Forest on a stream northeast of Marbach am Neckar. The municipality is part of the traditional Swabian wine region and is home to several wineries in the surrounding area. GSV Erdmannhausen is the largest club in the municipality — sports, culture, and the Weindorf are among its important fields of activity.

15th Erdmannhäuser Weindorf — 2026 Anniversary Edition
With its 15th edition, the Erdmannhäuser Weindorf celebrates a small anniversary in 2026. On Friday, October 2nd (German Unity Day), and Saturday, October 3rd, 2026, the Förderverein GSV Erdmannhausen e.V. will once again transform the Rathausvorplatz into a cozy wine village. Wooden huts, standing tables, and a stage will create the typical warm Swabian wine festival atmosphere.
The menu features wines from regional providers from the Württemberg wine-growing region — Trollinger, Lemberger, Riesling, Schwarzriesling, Müller-Thurgau — and Swabian specialties ranging from Maultaschen and Saitenwürstchen with lentils and Spätzle to Flammkuchen and Swabian platters.
