Entringer Kelterfest — A Tradition for Decades

The Entringer Kelterfest is organized by the Musikverein Entringen e.V. and takes place annually on the second weekend in July. In 2026, the festival will celebrate its 39th edition, making it one of the most traditional club festivals in the Ammerbuch administrative community. The venue is the Kelterplatz in Entringen, directly in front of the historic wine press building (Kelternstraße 11) — an atmospheric open-air setting with half-timbered houses, the shade of old trees, and the typical charm of a Swabian wine village.

Program — Wind Music, Guest Bands, Youth Orchestra

The Kelterfest is classically divided into two parts: Saturday evening, the festival begins around 5:30 PM with the band "Ernest and the Hemmingways" and catering in the Kelterhof. Sunday is dedicated entirely to wind music — guest bands from the surrounding area alternate with the club's own youth wind orchestra of the Musikverein Entringen and the Ammerbuch music school. The event concludes on Sunday around 8 PM. Catering is provided by the Musikverein with Swabian specialties, beer, and regional wine.

Ammerbuch and the Tübingen District

Ammerbuch (Tübingen district, AGS 08416, around 11,000 inhabitants) is located in the Ammer valley west of Tübingen. The municipality consists of six districts — Entringen, Altingen, Pfäffingen, Poltringen, Reusten, and Breitenholz — each with its own identity. Entringen is the largest district and a traditional wine-growing village, which is reflected in the wine press architecture and the tradition of the Kelterfest. The Musikverein Entringen preserves one of the municipality's most beautiful club traditions with the Kelterfest.
