75 Years of Equestrian History

The Elmlohe Riding Days have been a cornerstone of the Northern German equestrian scene since 1951. The 2026 edition marks the 75th anniversary — an occasion that will be celebrated with a particularly high-caliber program and an elaborately produced Saturday evening show.

Four Days of Tournament — July 30 to August 2, 2026

The 2026 tournament will take place from Thursday, July 30 to Sunday, August 2, 2026 at the riding facility in Elmlohe (part of the town of Geestland). With an expected ~25,000 spectators over four days, the tournament is one of the largest and most visited equestrian events in Northern Germany.

CSN/CDN — Show Jumping and Dressage

The tournament is designated as CSN/CDN — meaning national and international show jumping competitions (CSN) and dressage (CDN). Key highlights include:

• Hanoverian Championships
• Qualification for the Nürnberger Burg-Pokal 2026 — one of the most important young talent series in German dressage
• Piaff Prize — a significant development prize for young dressage riders
• Wesermünde Regional and District Championships

Saturday Evening Show with Stars

The Saturday evening show is the crowd-pleasing highlight of the anniversary year. International acrobatics and show stars Kenzie Dyslie and Laury Tisseur have been confirmed — promising goosebump moments and visually stunning equestrian performances.

Elmlohe and Geestland

Elmlohe is a historic part of the town of Geestland, which was formed in 2015 from the merger of several municipalities in the southern Cuxhaven district. The rural, expansive landscape is ideally suited for large equestrian events — the Elmlohe riding facility is one of Lower Saxony's most established equestrian venues.
