Edelsteintage Speyer Spring edition in the Stadthalle — over 50 exhibitors with gemstones, minerals, fossils, meteorites, and jewelry on the last weekend of February
The Edelsteintage Speyer are part of the ExpAo mineral fair series, which visits several cities in southern Germany. In Speyer, the fair takes place twice a year — the spring edition at the end of February/beginning of March and the late summer edition at the end of August. Both editions have the same format and similar exhibitor lists, but appeal to partially different collector circles.
The venue is the Stadthalle Speyer at Obere Langgasse 33 — a central event hall that offers ample space for exhibitor stands. Over 50 exhibitors from Germany, France, Belgium, Poland, Brazil, India, and other countries present their collections.
The offerings cover the full spectrum of the mineral and collector world. Mineral specialists display crystal specimens, agates, opals, pyrite, quartz, rose quartz, citrine, amethyst. Fossil dealers offer ammonites, trilobites, dinosaur bones and teeth, petrified wood and plants, fossil fish. Meteorite specialists have stone and iron meteorites from around the world in their program, along with tektites and moldavites.
A significant portion of the exhibitors focus on jewelry — gold jewelry with gemstones, silver jewelry, pearls (freshwater, Tahitian, Akoya), gemstone necklaces, pendants, earrings. The healing stones section is aimed at esoterically interested buyers: rose quartz, rock crystal, amethyst, aventurine, citrine in various shapes and sizes.
The fair is a must-attend event for mineral collectors from the region — and for families who want to introduce children to the fascinating world of geology and paleontology. Admission for children up to 14 years is free.
The 2026 spring edition runs on the last weekend of February. Over two days, exhibitors from Germany and abroad present their offerings at the Stadthalle.
The exact exhibitor list for 2026 will be published by the organizer in advance. The structure follows the proven guidelines of previous years.
