For 2026, the ecumenical Midsummer Bonfire in Ruhpolding is planned around St. John's Day. As in previous years, the Kolping family and the Protestant church community invite you to a joint Midsummer or St. John's celebration on the meadow opposite the Johanneskirche, with a fire blessing, music, and conviviality until midnight.

The ecumenical Midsummer Bonfire 2026 continues the joint celebration initiated in recent years by the Kolping family Ruhpolding/St. Georg and the Protestant church community. After dark, the Midsummer Bonfire will be lit and blessed by the clergy of both denominations.

Around the warming fire, people will sing, make music, and dance until midnight. The Ruhpolding Volunteer Fire Brigade will ensure fire safety and extinguish the embers at the end. The proceeds from the evening will benefit the youth fire brigade. The exact date and detailed program will be announced by the Kolping family.
