Charity Concert in Duderstadt City Park
The Duderstadt Summer of Culture charity concert is a regular fixture in early summer and is considered the most musically sophisticated format in the series. The venue is the Stadtpark Auf dem Graben, where the open-air stage is positioned so that the natural ambiance of the park optimally enhances the sound of the large orchestra.
Hanover Federal Police Orchestra
In the 2026 season, the renowned Hanover Federal Police Orchestra will perform in Duderstadt. Consisting of around 50 musicians, this symphonic wind orchestra is one of the major professional orchestras in Lower Saxony and performs regularly at home and abroad. Its repertoire ranges from classical symphonic wind music and marches to film themes and arrangements of current pop and rock titles.

Duderstadt City Park, Auf dem Graben, within walking distance of the historic market square. Parking available at the Westerturm and the tourist information center. Travel by bus line 173 from Göttingen.
Tickets
Tickets are sold through the Duderstadt tourist information center on the market square and at the box office on-site. Prices are in the moderate donation range, as this is a benefit event. Proceeds go to social projects in the Eichsfeld region.
On Site
Open-air stage in the city park, seating in several rows. Drinks and snack stands will be available before and during the intermission. In case of bad weather, an alternative date or indoor location will be announced on the Summer of Culture website.
