Two-stage festival with regional rock, indie, and family music in LNS-Park Duderstadt
The Duderstadt Open Air Festival is a volunteer-run festival initiative in the southern Lower Saxony Eichsfeld region. The venue is the LNS-Park on the outskirts of Duderstadt, a park-like festival ground with ample space for several stages, catering areas, family zones, and seating. Since its inception, the festival has positioned itself as a platform for regional bands from the Eichsfeld, southern Lower Saxony, northwestern Thuringia, and northeastern Hesse.
The association Kreuzberg on KulTour e.V. is responsible for the organization, having developed the festival as a platform for the regional music scene and a contribution to the cultural revitalization of Duderstadt. Unlike commercial mega-festivals, the focus here is on supporting emerging bands, an affordable admission price, and family-friendliness.
The festival features two stages, allowing performances to flow into each other without long breaks. Programmatically, the spectrum ranges from indie, alternative rock, and singer-songwriter to acoustic formats, cover bands, and regionally known acts. Several food trucks and beverage stands complement the stage performances.
Unlike many open-air festivals, Duderstadt Open Air emphasizes a clear family orientation. Children's areas, interactive activities, and moderate noise levels in certain areas make it suitable for visits with children. This focus makes the festival a summer weekend for generations.
With its fifth edition, the Duderstadt Open Air marks a small anniversary and solidifies its place on the Eichsfeld festival calendar. The organizing association Kreuzberg on KulTour e.V. plans the event again as a two-day festival organized by volunteers, focusing on regional bands and a warm, park-like atmosphere in the LNS-Park.
The exact lineup for 2026 will be announced by the organizer in advance. The structure follows the proven cornerstones of previous years:
