The concert series was founded in the mid-1980s by the Goedeke couple, who maintain Rittergut Lucklum as both their residence and a cultural venue. A private passion for music evolved into a concert series that now brings artists from all over the world to Lucklum. The commitment of the organizing family represents a special form of civic cultural work, combining quality, independence, and hospitality.

Rittergut Lucklum as a Concert Venue

Rittergut Lucklum, located in the Erkerode district of the municipality of Cremlingen, is one of the most significant historic estates in the region. The concerts take place in various rooms: the magnificent concert hall with excellent acoustics, the historic barn with its impressive wooden structure, or, for summer events, in the spacious manor courtyard. Each room contributes its own atmosphere and acoustics, giving the concerts their distinctive character.

Programmatic Diversity

The program includes classical chamber music, solo recitals by renowned soloists, song recitals, jazz trios and quartets, world music ensembles, and cross-genre projects. The spectrum of performers ranges from established concert stars to promising young talents. The WegArt Concert Series sees itself as a platform where musical quality can be presented without commercial pressure.
