Three Days of Music on the Beach
The Friesenfestival brings three days of live music to Schillig Beach – a festival concept that perfectly combines summer holidays, the beach, and lively concerts. Over the three festival days, more than ten acts will perform on the stage by the sea, and the food stalls around the festival grounds will provide culinary delights.
Frisian Flair
The Friesenfestival is deliberately Frisian in character. With the Likedeeler Shantychor, a classic of maritime music opens the stage, while Brass von Monte Disco brings traditional brass band flair in a modern guise. This rootedness in the region makes the festival authentic.
Friday, July 24, 2026 – Opening
Friday's opening features four acts on stage: Likedeeler Shantychor, Circus Axo, Brass von Monte Disco, and the Hitfluencer with their rousing cover repertoire.
Saturday, July 25, 2026 – Main Evening
Saturday is the busiest festival day with four more acts: an Ed Sheeran tribute show, the cover band Adrenalin, the Schlager show group BIG Maggas, and DJ Flöcki, who will keep the beach dancing late into the night.
Sunday, July 26, 2026 – Family Day
Sunday starts family-friendly with De Platters (cover classics), Honey Bird (folk and pop), and a children's disco that will draw the youngest audience to the beach.
Friesenfestival — edition 2026
The 2026 edition features over ten acts spread across three festival days, covering a broad musical spectrum – from maritime shanties and cover hits to tribute shows and DJ sets, plus a children's program.
Schillig Beach offers ample space, good wind conditions, and a relaxed summer atmosphere as the venue.
