A Concert Series Like No Other in the Black Forest

The Dreisamtäler Bauernhofkonzerte have been a special summer concert series in the Dreisamtal since 2021 – that picturesque valley landscape east of Freiburg im Breisgau, nestled between Black Forest peaks like Schauinsland and Feldberg. The organizer is Tourismus Dreisamtal e.V.; the concert series is officially certified as a Green Event BW (sustainable event format).

"Landleben live" — The Concept

The idea is simple and consistent: Four Black Forest farms in the Dreisamtal each open their meadows and courtyards for a concert on a summer evening. The farmers themselves are hosts, a single food truck on-site provides guests with food and drinks, draft beer, and regional products. Live visuals are projected onto the barn roofs – a highlight, especially at the Wieselhof in Kirchzarten.

• July 15, 2026 – Thaddäushof in Kirchzarten with EL FLECHA NEGRA (Latin Groove, Acoustic)

The Busking Beat Brothers

At all four concerts, The Busking Beat Brothers will also perform as a supporting act – the street music ensemble that forms the common thread of the series and ensures relaxed transitions between the main act and intermission program.

Food Trucks, Beer, and Black Forest Atmosphere

At each farm, a food truck offers regional cuisine, accompanied by regional draft beer, local wines, and non-alcoholic alternatives. You sit on hay bales, beer benches, or on the meadow – with a view of old farmhouses, slopes, and forests. The concerts are explicitly designed as chill summer evenings, not a mass festival.

Sustainable and Regional

With the Green-Event-BW certification, the series is a model example of sustainable festival culture in Baden-Württemberg: short travel distances, regional supply chains, reusable tableware, compact stage technology. Travel by public transport (Breisgau-S-Bahn and Regionalbus) is recommended.
