Dorffest Vilich-Müldorf — Pure Bonn-Beuel Association Culture

The Dorffest Vilich-Müldorf is one of the most traditional district festivals in the right-Rhenish Bonn district of Beuel. Organized by the Bürgerverein Vilich-Müldorf e.V., it brings together the residents and associations of the district around the Mühlenbachhalle every June. In 2026, the festival will run from June 12th to 14th over three days. Its character: not a commercial funfair with showmen, but a genuine association festival with a program from the district itself.

Three Days, Three Moods

The atmosphere changes from day to day:

• Friday, June 12th — Evening Get-Together from 5:00 PM: a relaxed start in the beer tent, catching up with neighbors and friends, local bands or a DJ in the evening
• Saturday, June 13th — Association Program from 1:00 PM: colorful performances by local associations, activities for children, culinary stands, evening dance music
• Sunday, June 14th — High Mass 9:30 AM: festive church service, followed by a Morning Pint from 11:00 AM and the traditional Rhenish Sauerbraten with red cabbage and dumplings from 12:30 PM for lunch

Rhenish Sauerbraten as the Highlight

The culinary centerpiece is the Rhenish Sauerbraten with red cabbage and dumplings on Sunday lunchtime (12:30 PM–1:30 PM) for €15 — a classic Rhenish festive meal that defines the character of the district festival. Pre-orders are required by June 10th, 2026 (via email or phone of the Bürgerverein). The dish is traditionally prepared in the association's own kitchen — a culinary local tradition that draws many guests specifically for this occasion.

Vilich-Müldorf — Bonn District with Village Character

Vilich-Müldorf is one of the 16 districts of the Bonn district of Beuel on the right bank of the Rhine. With around 5,000 inhabitants, the district has retained the character of an independent village — a quality that the Dorffest highlights every year. The Mühlenbachhalle forms the heart of the village's association life, serving as a venue for shooting clubs, carnival, and the Dorffest. The Bürgerverein Vilich-Müldorf e.V. cultivates this community identity as its central task.
