46 Years of Village Festival
With 46 editions, the Hohenkirchen Village Festival is one of the firmly established folk festivals (Volksfeste) in the Wangerland. Since the late 1970s, it has been an annual meeting point for the village community, attracting visitors from the entire region to Hohenkirchen.
Bismarckplatz as Festival Center
Bismarckplatz in the heart of Hohenkirchen offers the ideal setting: centrally located, easily accessible, and with enough space for rides, the stage, stalls, and the festival tent. The surrounding houses and the church tower form the traditional backdrop.
Funfair with Showmen
The showmen's association brings rides and game stalls to Hohenkirchen – from the classic chain carousel and dodgems to modern attractions. Children and the young at heart will get their money's worth.
Flea Market
The traditional flea market offers bargain hunters and collectors a colorful selection. From antiques to curiosities, everything is available.
Music Festival
Several bands will perform on the festival stage over the four days. The musical spectrum ranges from cover bands and Schlager to party acts, ensuring full dance floors, especially in the evenings.
