The Dorfgemeinschaftsfest Damm-Reez and Prisannewitz combines two parallel village festivals of the municipality of Dummerstorf on one day: the village and summer festival in Damm-Reez and the village festival in Prisannewitz. Both districts belong to the larger municipality of Dummerstorf in the Rostock district and are located just a few kilometers apart in the flat hinterland of the Hanseatic city of Rostock. Instead of one large, central event, the villages maintain their own traditions here – united by the same municipality and the same date in the summer calendar.
