A Village Festival with a Youthful Touch
The Dorffest Adelzhausen is a typical Bavarian summer festival, organized by the Katholische Landjugendbewegung Adelzhausen (KLJB). This makes it one of the many festivals organized annually in Bavaria by youth groups with church affiliations – and at the same time, an important contribution from the younger generation to the village's club life.
Forecourt of the Community Center as the Venue
The venue is the forecourt of the community center at Aichacher Straße 12 in the heart of Adelzhausen. Tables, beer benches, and a catering area transform the square into a lively meeting zone on a July evening. The KLJB takes care of catering, setup and dismantling, music, and atmosphere.
Adelzhausen – Rural Municipality in Bavarian Swabia
Adelzhausen is located in the Aichach-Friedberg district, administrative region of Swabia, approximately halfway between Augsburg and Munich. With around 2200 inhabitants, it is a typical Bavarian-Swabian rural municipality with vibrant club life: the fire department, sports club, traditional costume association, and KLJB maintain a network of festivals throughout the year.

The village festival is small, with no admission fee, no big stage – yet it is precisely this simplicity that constitutes its charm. It is this form of village cohesion that has remained alive in Bavaria for decades.

The 2026 edition of the Dorffest Adelzhausen begins on Friday, July 3, 2026, at 6:00 PM. The organizer is the KLJB Adelzhausen, which is organizing the festival on the forecourt of the community center.
