Four concerts in summer 2026
The municipal concert series "Donnerstags in die City" enters a new season in 2026 with four open-air concerts. On the open-air stage at Neckarsulm's market square, regional and national bands play every Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. The concerts are fully organized by the city of Neckarsulm and are free for all visitors.

Four balmy summer evenings on the market square
The city of Neckarsulm invites you to the municipal concert series "Donnerstags in die City" every summer. In 2026, four concerts will take place: on July 25, August 1, August 8, and August 15, 2026. Every Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m., the market square transforms into an open-air stage with professional sound and lighting technology.
2026 Programme — four bands, four styles
The opening on July 25 will be by Boogie Connection with their energetic mix of Boogie-Woogie, Blues, and Rock'n'Roll. On August 1, Risk follows with rock and pop covers for the whole family. On August 8, The Night Live Band takes over with hits from five decades of pop and rock history. The finale on August 15 will be by Allgäu Power with traditional folk music and party music in the typical Allgäu style.
City center gastronomy and summer atmosphere
Restaurants and cafés around the market square extend their opening hours on concert evenings and offer food and drinks directly at the venue. The concert series is intended as a summer meeting place: after work with friends and family on the market square, a beer or cocktail, a snack from the neighboring restaurant — and enjoy live music under the open sky for free.
Neckarsulm — Audi city and castle park municipality
Neckarsulm, a town of around 27,000 inhabitants in the district of Heilbronn, is primarily known as an Audi location — high-priced Audi models (A6, A7, A8, R8) are manufactured here. But Neckarsulm also has a historic center with a castle, city walls, the German Bicycle and NSU Museum, and a vibrant city center. The market square is the heart of the city and the perfect location for the open-air concert series.
Municipal concert series — free and accessible
The concert series is entirely funded by the city of Neckarsulm and is free for all visitors. Seating will be provided in limited numbers; most guests will stand or bring their own folding chairs. The market square is accessible.
