Spring Kick-off on the Danube
With the Dillinger Frühling, the town of Dillingen an der Donau in the Swabian district of Dillingen kicks off the Volksfest season. The venue is the festival grounds in the Donaupark, which becomes the center of public life for a few days, attracting visitors from the entire region.
Amusement Park with Around 30 Showmen
The centerpiece is an attractive amusement park with around 30 showman businesses. Among the rides are a fast-paced Breakdance with many effects, an XXL bumper car ride, a nostalgic wave swinger, and a "Hip Hop Flyer". Thrills and family fun are equally guaranteed.
Festival Tent with Free Admission
Several top show bands and regional music groups provide the atmosphere in the festival tent – with free admission. The opening on Friday features concerts by local bands and a grand parade of clubs from the town hall to the festival grounds. Throughout the festival days, there are program items such as a sheep's head card game (Preisschafkopf), performances by the Dillingen town band, and special promotional offers.

The festival caters to everyone: On Monday, a senior afternoon with live music invites seniors and people with disabilities; on Tuesday, there is a children's, youth, and family afternoon with reduced ride prices. The finale on Tuesday evening includes a concert and fireworks.

Around 30 showmen offer an attractive amusement park with Breakdance, XXL bumper cars, wave swinger, and Hip Hop Flyer. On Sunday, there's a sheep's head card game (Preisschafkopf) and performances by the Dillingen town band, on Monday a senior afternoon, and on Tuesday a children's and family afternoon with reduced ride prices. The finale on Tuesday evening features a concert by FRONTAL PartyPur and fireworks around 10:30 PM.
