Deftones were formed in Sacramento in 1988 and released their first album in 1995. With 'White Pony' (2000), they became trendsetters for a new, more sophisticated variant of nu-metal: dark atmospheres, polyrhythmic structures, Chino Moreno's melodically defined vocal lines, and a unique sound that evolved the genre. Later albums like 'Diamond Eyes' (2010), 'Koi No Yokan' (2012), and 'Ohms' (2020) confirmed the band's status as one of the most consistent and influential voices in modern alternative metal.
Parkbühne Wuhlheide
Parkbühne Wuhlheide is Berlin's largest open-air concert stage: a 17,000-capacity amphitheater in the FEZ recreational park in Oberschöneweide (Treptow-Köpenick district). Since the 1990s, it has served as Berlin's central venue for major summer concerts spanning rock, pop, and metal.
