Crossover Violin Under the Open Sky on the Lower Rhine

The Millennium Symphony: 25 Years of Pop in Classical Guise
The current program „Millennium Symphony” is Garrett's declaration of love to the pop and R&B classics of the last 25 years. The organizers state that „The top hits of the last 25 years” are „transformed into striking sound images”. The setlist includes pieces by Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Ed Sheeran, The Weeknd, and many other pop stars – all rearranged for solo violin and orchestra by a classically trained violin virtuoso who bridges the gap between popular and classical music like few others.
